Wilma Long

Wilma Beatrice Redmon Long age 91 of Suffolk, VA, passed away on December 13, 2011. She was a graduate of Wartburg Central High School and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Butler Long whom she was married to for forty seven years before his death in 1984. Also her parents: James and Viola Potter Redmon, Brothers: Murrell, Perry and Jim Redmon and sisters Mina, Glessie, Velva and Zioe.

She is survived by twin sons: Stanley Isaac (Ike) and his wife Carol and Edward Ronald (Eddie) Long both of Suffolk, VA.
One very special grandson: Justin Isaac and wife Ashley Emrick Long of Virginia Beach, VA, and other nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Family will receive friends Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00p.m. with Reverend Jim Whitson officiating. Interment will be at Morgan Memorial Gardens Sunday, December 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.

Pall Bearers include Louis Redmon, Herbert Redmon, Tommy Redmon, Charles Bullen, Brad Redmon, and Roger Long.
