William (Willie) Egbert

William (Willie) Anthony Egbert passed away at his home in Wartburg on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.

He loved to watch football, wrestling, Nascar, going fishing and riding four wheelers he loved doing all these things with his pride and joy his daughter Breana. He is a member of Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church of the Marlow Community.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mable Ruth Thornton, father Jack Egbert and one uncle Wendall Thornton.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years Esther (Newport) Egbert and daughter Breana Egbert both of Wartburg.  Brothers Bob (Cathy) Egbert of Toledo, Ohio;   Jeff Egbert of Billings, Montana;   Lyle (Nancy) Wilson of Bradenton, Florida.  Sisters Jami Sartin of Clinton;  Wendy Scott of Oak Ridge.  Father and Mother in law James and Wanda Newport and  Sister in law Karen Newport all of Wartburg.  Uncles Gary (Brenda) Thornton of Clinton,  Ben (Carolyn) Thornton of Frost Bottom, Larry (Tina) Thornton of Graves Gap and Billy Thornton of Florida.  Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends at Schubert funeral home in Wartburg on Saturday, November 19th from 4-6 p.m. with the funeral following.  Graveside service will be Sunday, November the 20th at 11am at Graves Gap Cemetery.
