William Crabtree

William T. Crabtree, age 84 died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Life Care Center of Morgan County. He was a veteran of the Korea and Vietnam War and retired from the Army after 22 years of service. He was a long standing member of Armes Chapel Baptist Church in Wartburg.

He is preceded in death by sons, William T. Crabtree II. and Robert Crabtree.

Mr. Crabtree is survived by wife, Reba; 2 children and 3 step children; Son, Michael and wife Pearl, daughter, Donna M. Rigsby both of Hopkinsville, Ky. Grandchildren, Sylinda Asher and Michael A. Crabtree II. of Summerville, South Carolina. Great-grandchildren, David Allen, Megan and Emily Ahser, Elizabeth Crabtree, Joey and Johnathan Rigsby; step daughter, Faye Hall Hammons and husband, David of Ten Mile, TN., step-sons, Robert Hall and wife Anita of Lancing, James Hall and wife Pam of San Diego, CA., grandchildren, Brandon Hammons of Ten Mile, Bobby and Robbie Hall of Lancing, Melanie Hall Millstein and James Edward Hall II. of San Diego and special granddaughter, Kristy Hammons Solomon of Harriman. Great grandkids, Jenessa and Jaycee Hall, Miakai Millstein.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5 – 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Armes Chapel Church at 2:00 PM. with Bro. Perry Spurling officiating with interment to follow in the Armes Chapel Church Cemetery.
