Wendell Lee Newport of Sunbright, TN

Wendell Lee Newport age 76 of Sunbright passed away on Monday,  March 26, 2018 at his home.  He was preceded in death by his father William McKinley Newport and his mother MaLinda Newport, brothers L.A. Newport, Nathaniel Newport and sisters  Lizzy Bailey, Lorene Smith, Irene Calavan, and Marine Phipps.

He is survived by his wife  Marilyn Joyce Bowling Newport of the Pilot Mountain Community.  His two sons Randell Anthony Lloyd Newport and Jeffery Kyle Newport and his wife Jacqueline Louise Newport of Sunbright.  His three grandchildren Stephanie Deanne Wright and her husband Jamie Ryan Wright of Clinton, Charles McKinley Newport and his wife Sonya Ann Newport of Sunbright, and Ethan Harris Newport also of Sunbright.  He has five great grandchildren Lukas Isaiah Stewart, Jadyn Quinn Wright, Paisley Brynn Wright, McKinley Timon Newport and Briley Ann Newport.
His Brother Lemuel Newport and his wife Velva June Newport and sister Geraldine Newport Armes all live local.

Also surviving are a host of Nieces and Nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 5-7 pm Schubert Funeral Home Sunbright.  Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Bro. Billy Durham and Bro. Charles Northrup officiating.  Graveside services will be Friday 11am Sunbright Cemetery.
