Virginia Phillips, of Oakdale, TN

Virginia Jo Moore Phillips, born on July 6, 1927, went home to be with our Lord on January 11, 2018 at Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center.

Virginia, who was known as “Jo” to her family and friends, was born and raised in Oakdale, Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nina Ashley Moore; her husband, James Phillips; Brothers, Bill Moore and Jim Moore; Sister, Jane Moore; and her grandson, Chase Anthony Shelton.

She is survived by Daughter, Reba Croft Allen (Chuck); Son, David Croft (Teresa); Brother, Ted Moore (Joann); and numerous Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, January 15, 2018 from 1:00 - 3:00 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 3:00 with Bro. Tom Robbins officiating. Interment to follow in the Crab Orchard Cemetery in Oakdale.
