Timmy Gibson

Timmy Dewayne Gibson Jr. was born May 31st, 1992 and departed December 20th, 2024. 

Timmy will be remembered fondly by family and friends for his outgoing, loyal personality and his ability to make friends with anyone he’d meet. Timmy loved the Lord, his children, and his many friends and family. 

Timmy was survived by his mother Wanda Slaven, his siblings Tyler Gibson, Alisha Gibson, and Angel Weldy, aunts Vicky Gibson, Lisa Gibson, Matilda Gibson, and Joanna Pinder, uncles Jack Foster and Skylar Clark, a host of cousins including Maureen Williams, Victoria Williams, Franklin Martin, Shawn and William Pinder, maternal grandparents Harold Clark and Margret Butler, a host of great aunts and uncles, and his children Truly Mae Gibson, Legacy Gibson, Anakin Gibson, Leonidas Slay, and Jacob Gibson. 

Timmy was preceded in death by his cousin Churchie Martin and Noah Williams, uncles Ernest Barnett and Jerry Gibson, as well as paternal grandparents Florene and Jim Gibson, and maternal great grandparents Thelma and Clint Slaven.

Timmy has many friends including Anthony Harrison, Carl Bell, Cody Whaley, Colt Graves, Derek Thayer, Diane Daniels, Mindy Smith, and many more!

 The family will receive friends Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Hillcrest Baptist Church, 140 Claiborne Lane, Jacksboro, TN 37757 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Hinkle and Pastor Lynn Ray officiating.
