Thelma Westcott

Thelma Marie Akins Honeycutt Westcott, age 95 of Mossy Grove, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 25, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by husbands, Arnold Honeycutt and Roy Westcott; parents, Andrew and Bertha Garrett Akins; infant daughter, Carol Honeycutt; brothers, Edd Steelman, Jesse Steelman, James, Hobert, Charles and Carl (killed in WWII) Akins and sister, Opal Akins Ashford.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Sue and Kenneth Jones of Mossy Grove; sister, Margaret Prater and husband Roscoe of Oliver Springs; Granddaughters, Suzanne Jones Clay and husband Timothy, Jennifer Jones Sexton and fiance' Jerry Singleton and son, Corey Singleton and the sparkle of her eyes, great granddaughters, Whitney Suzanne Sexton and Courtney Taylor Sexton. She also leaves numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00PM with Bro. David Goodman officiating. Graveside services will be Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 1:00PM in the Mossy Grove Cemetery, Harriman.
