Sylvia Carter

God needed another flower in His garden so on May 12, 2012 he called Sylvia Dodson Carter home. We'll miss her but she's not in pain now. She's now with her family there in his garden of Love. My mom was special to me and loved her with all my heart, Love Melody & Eunice & family.

Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents Robert & Goldie Dodson, Son: Johnny Potter, Daughters: Linda Gail Potter & Barbara Kay Potter

She is survived by her husband: Jimmy Carter
Sons: Willis & Kathy Manis, Anthony Manis, George & Robin Potter, Kennith & Lorie Potter, Michael & Vickie Potter
Daughters: Louella & John Litton, Mary Cope, Lola Coulter, Melody Potter Hale, Peggy & Jerry Russell, Jerri & Bobby Smith
Sister: Eunice M. Dodson Holding.

Also surviving are lots of grandchildren & great-grandchildren who loved her very much, we love you momma!

The family will receive friends Wednesday May 16, 2012 from 11 to 2 pm at the Old Potters Chapel Church, Lancing. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Rev. Mike Ritzman officiating. Interment will follow in the Potters Chapel Cemetery.
