Steve Walker of Wartburg

Stephen Glenn Walker, 63, of Wartburg went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 10, 2017.   He attended Fellowship Baptist Church and was a construction superintendent for Joseph Construction for 21 years. Steve enjoyed hunting and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Eva Marie Walker; sisters, Terrie and Charlotte.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Gail Woods Walker; daughters, Jenny “Stephanie” Walker, Brenda Walker and Renee Moore; grandchildren; Jacob Schellenger, Kiara Blain, Alexander Blain and Isabelle Blain; sister, Deborah  Boatwright; brother, Benjie Walker adopted sisters, Sissy, Vicky and Sheila.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 12, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 7:00 pm with Bro. Bret Pallotta officiating. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. in the Morgan Memorial Gardens in Wartburg.
