Snow Dear Byrge of the Stephens Community, Oliver Springs, TN

Snow Dear Byrge, 91 a resident of the Stephens community passed away Friday, September 15, 2017.  She attended Stephens Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband Elsic (Greasy) Byrge, son Clifton Byrge, Daughter Mary Lou Worley, Granddaughter Francine Singleton, Granddaughter Marilyn (Dee Dee) Bridges, Grandson Brian Keith Brys, Great grandson J.C. Singleton. Parents John and Marah Anderson. Five brothers Marley, Carpenter, Murley, Robin, Roscoe. Six sisters Aroni, Alieen, Martha, Billie Jean, Cordilla, and Laura.

She is survived by her children Ted Byrge, Joann and husband Glen, Betty Brys, Stephens TN. Peggy Sexton of Mossy Grove, TN. 12 Grandchildren, 27 Great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.  Special friend Claude Wilson and Eddie Hembree. She was loved by so many people. She enjoyed having her family and friends around her. She never met a stranger and her home was always open to anyone.

The family will receive friends Monday, September 18, 2017 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Jim Disney and Bro. Gary Massengill officiating. Graveside service will be Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Stephens Cemetery.
