Shirley Eble

Shirley Jane Reynolds Eble passed away September 7, 2015 surrounded by her children. She was a life-long resident of the Piney community. Shirley was a member of Piney Baptist Church where she spent many years teaching and serving. She enjoyed spending time with family, including her four grandchildren, baking, gardening and farming.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Ira. They married in 1956 and spent 41 years together. Also, her parents, Leonard and Minnie Reynolds and siblings Wayne Reynolds, Martha Reynolds Ooten and Mary Reynolds Cordts preceded her.
She is survived by: son, Dalton and Karen Eble, daughter, Susan and Tony Sands and daughter, Selina Eble, all of Oakdale. Grandchildren Amanda Eble, Ryan, James and Brandon Sands and step-grandson Charlie Sands. Sister, Pat Doughty of Rockwood. Brothers, Johnny and Geraldine Reynolds, Mike and Dianna Reynolds and Jerry Reynolds, all of Oakdale. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held at Schubert Funeral Home Wednesday, September 9 from 5-7 PM. Funeral and burial will be Thursday at Piney Baptist Church , 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Pat McGee and Bro. Chuck Willborn officiating.
