Sherry Phillips 57, of Wartburg, Tn. went home to be with the Lord September 24, 2017.

She is preceded in death by her son, Eric Phillips; father, Howard Jones; father-in-law, Earl Phillips; grandparents, Guley and Emilea Young and Miller and Cassie Jones, also 2 nephews, Jereme and Stevie Howard.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Phillips; son, Waynie; grandchildren, Brook, Dillion, Kyler and Mackinsey; mother, Betty Hamby; brother, Gary Jones; sisters, Diane Swint, Brenda Williams and Pamela Howard; mother-in-law, Mary Jo Phillips; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Barbara Phillips, Bruce and Hewie Phillips and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all loved her very much. Special friend Merle Phillips who she loved to talk with, special aunt, Doris Melhorn whom she loved to travel with.

Sherry loved the lord and was baptized in her faith. She loved to travel shop and go to the flea markets and loved to try different restaurants. Her favorite time was Christmas; she loved to buy presents for everyone. She would start shopping for the next year the next day. She was loved so much by man and will miss and love her forever.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Bro. Myrl Phillips officiating. Graveside will be Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the McCartt Cemetery in Lancing, Tn.
