Sawyer Braden Webb, 19, was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on February 5, 1992. He died in Knoxville, Tennessee on October 13, 2011. Sawyer is the son of Tracy Ryder Bradshaw of Wartburg, Tennessee.
Sawyer was a student at Claxton Elementary School, Woodland Elementary School, Wartburg Middle School and graduated from Central High School in Wartburg in 2010. During this period of his education, Sawyer received several academic and personal achievement awards. He was a student at the University of Tennessee in 2010 to 2011.
Sawyer was employed at Gyro's near the UT campus. He enjoyed working with his coworkers, delivering, doing odds and ends, and filling in wherever his boss needed him.
Sawyer was a kind, fun-loving young man, who enjoyed swimming, playing video games and driving. He enjoyed entertaining his many friends and family with his quick wit. Sawyer had a passion for music and was an accomplished guitarist.
Those who will treasure the memory of Sawyer include his mother, Tracy, with whom he had a loving close relationship, his step-father, Alan Bradshaw, grandparents, Colin and Opal Webb and Joy and Ken Moore. In addition, his memory will be cherished by his aunts and uncles: Todd and Belinda Ryder, Ted Ryder and Shirl Lambert, Diana and Terry Young, Kris and John Shope, Greg and Missy Ryder, Shawn and Patti Ryder, Shelly Garcia and Jose Arellano , Donna Ryder, and Beth Webb; and his cousins: Justin, Sara, Jody, Jared, Josh, Jeremy, Christina, Michael, Becca, Natalie, Caddie, Casandra, Matthew, T.J., David and Andrew, and Great Uncle Wayne Lunsford.
Sawyer's closest friends were Tyler, Willie, Nathan, Brett, Dylan, Caleb, Josh, Keagon, Austin and Zach.
His pets were Shyanne, Buddy, and Libby. Sawyer rescued two of these special animals, and provided them with love and care.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 16 from 2:00 to 3:00p.m. at Kern Memorial United Methodist Church, 451 East Tennessee Avenue, Oak Ridge, Tennessee. A celebration of Sawyer's life will follow at 3:00pm with the Reverend Don Morris officiating.
Pall bearers will be Sawyer's uncles.
After cremation, Sawyer will join his Grandpa Ryder on the Ryder family farm in Verona, Kentucky.
