Savannah Garrett

Mrs. Savannah Goodman Garrett, Age 98, of Lancing Died Sunday evening, November 11, 2012 at the Monterey Nursing Home. She joined Elizabeth Church by letter on April 4, 1929 and was a faithful member teaching Sunday School and singing in the Choir. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Pearlie Shannon Goodman; Her Loving Husband of 72 years: Carl Garrett, Bothers: Lonnie Goodman, Johnnie Goodman, Willard Goodman and Dempsie Goodman; Sisters: Margie Underwood and Annie Sexton

Mrs. Garrett is survived by Daughter: Joyce Bardill of Tallahasse FL
Sons: Doyle Garrett of Lancing and Paul Garrett of Monterey
Seven Grand Children: Russell Garrett of Austin TX, Rocky Garrett and wife Donna and Randy Garrett and wife Cindy both of Monterey, Paula and husband Gary Reed of North Carolina, Debbie Garrett of Lubbock TX Amy and husband Larry Meyer and Amanda and husband Mark Stence both of Marietta GA

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 5 until 8:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00PM with Rev. Buster Armes and Rev. David Goodman officiating. Graveside Services will be at the Elizabeth Cemetery, Wednesday at 11:00 AM
