Sadie Harris, of Coalfield, TN

Sadie Harris 83, of Coalfield passed away Monday, February 12, 2018. She was a member of Petros Baptist Church and a 50+ year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed baking, ballroom dancing and spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Eva Brown; husband, Jimmy Harris; brother, DC (Joyce) Brown, Ilene Culbertson and Imogene Presley.

She is survived by her son, Tim (JoAnn) Harris; daughter, Lisa (Larry) Pemberton; grandchildren, Tate Harris, Natalie Garrison, Josh (Mandi aka “Bull”) Pemberton; great grandchildren, Cody Garrison, Abigail Pemberton, Jared Harris and Knox Pemberton; brother-in-law, Burrell Harris and sister-in-law, Peggy (Jean) Poole and a host of special nieces, nephews and special friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 8:00 p.m. with Dr. Jim West officiating. Graveside will be Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11:30 p.m. in the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville.
