Mrs. Ruth Lucille Lowe Taylor York, age 84 of Oak Ridge was born December 24, 1927 in Smokey Junction, TN. She passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2012 after a long battle with pneumonia.
Mrs. York was of the Baptist faith who was a beautiful woman who loved, cherished and cared for and by so many. She also loved quilting, fishing and flower gardens. She was preceded in death by her parents; Starlin and Laura (Goad) Lowe, husband; Sherman York and infant son; Allen Dean Taylor.

She is survived by her children;
Faye Miracle and husband Dennis,
Jerry Taylor and wife Michelle,
Frankie Robinson and husband C.L.,
Ellis Taylor,
John Taylor,
Doug Taylor and girlfriend Tina Hodge,
Doris Taylor Roysden and husband Clais,
Steve York and partner Dustin Thomas,
Cindy Boulton and husband Greg,
Miranda York,
Also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren in addition to many other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, July 15, 2012 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 6-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Monday July 16, 2:00 p.m. at Corbin Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Mark Bass and Bro. Eugene Hunter officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Clinton, TN
Schubert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
