Ruth Billings of Deer Lodge, TN

Mrs. Ruth R. Billings, age 89 of Deer Lodge, passed away at her daughter’s home in

Deer Lodge on April 29, 2017. Ruth was born February 23, 1928.

When Ruth was able, she loved attending Pilot Mtn. Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; James Billings, daughter; Dorothy Hawn,

Her sister; Callie Patton, her brothers; John, Jessie and Dangil Hawn.

She is survived by her brother; Leamon Hawn

Children; James Billings, Lester Billings, Marjorie Brown and (husband Arthur Brown),

Larry Billings and (wife Linda Skinner Billings), Nancy Barnes and (husband Ronnie Barnes).

Grandchildren; Malissa Brown Jones and( husband Jimmy Jones),  Diane Baldridge and (husband Clinton Baldridge), Mike Burris, Terry Burris, Bethany Williams and  Ruth Ann Billings.

Great-grandchild; Alexandra Burris.  Longtime family friend and caretaker, Alice Ely and

Adopted granddaughter; Jenny Wade.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening May 2, 2017 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5-7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will follow with Bro. Charles Webb officiating.

Graveside services will be Wednesday morning, 10:00 a.m. in Bethel/Island Ford Cemetery in Lancing, TN
