RP Hamby of Wartburg

Mr. RP Hamby age 73 of Wartburg passed away August 3, 2018 at Huntsville Manor. He was retired from Red Cap Industries. He was a loving father, grandpa and father in law.  He is preceded in death by parents Ray and Hattie Hamby, brother Thomas Steven Hamby and sister Mary Lou Shannon also brother-n-law Bill Johnson.

He is survived by son Todd D. Hamby and wife Judy grandchildren Derrick, Kayla and Travis Hamby all of Wartburg, TN and great granddaughter Willow Grace Hamby of Crossville TN.

Brothers Burnis and wife Brenda of Lancing, Roger and wife Terri of Gobey, Nathan and wife Darlene of Gobey, Jimmy and wife Monica of Lancing, Kelly and wife Pam of Lancing.

Sisters Joann and Husband Sidney Clark of Lancing Barbara Sue Johnson of Lancing, Sister-n-law Nadine Hamby of Lancing, Brother-n-law Johnny Shannon of Sunbright.

He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 5-7 pm Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg.  Funeral services will follow with Bro. Buster Armes officiating.  Graveside services will be Monday, 11am in the Hamby Family Cemetery, Gobey.
