Rose Freytag

Rose Anderson Freytag, 65, of Lancing passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 after a long, courageous fight with cancer.  She was a lifelong resident of Morgan County and spent the majority of her years serving as the nursing supervisor at the Morgan County Health Department.  She will always be remembered for her infectious laugh, her selflessness, and her caring soul.  She enjoyed crocheting, fishing and spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Rena Anderson of Deer Lodge, Brothers; Archie Anderson, Jimmy Anderson and David Anderson. Sisters; Myrtle Huling and Viola Brown. Niece; Penny Huling and grandchildren; Connor and Lexie Freytag.

She is survived by her Husband J.W. Freytag

Melissa Freytag Dillard of Phoenix, AZ

Krista (Andrew) Masters of Murfreesboro, TN

Brother:  Frank Anderson

Sisters-In-Law:  Hazel Anderson and Judy Anderson

Grandchildren whom she loved more than anything in the world, Liam Dillard, Kindred and Cora Masters and Randy Freytag

Her beloved dog Darby

Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 5-7 pm Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg.  Funeral services will follow at 7 pm with Bro. Chris Inman officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday, 11 am at the Fairview Cemetery, Lancing.
