Roscoe Potter

Roscoe E. Potter, age 98 of Potters Chapel Community passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014. He was a member of the Frankfort Community Church. He is preceded in death by five brothers: George, St. Elmo, Benny, Lonnie and Lester Potter and Six sisters: Cindy Watson, Dovie Brown, Violet Hicks, Lennis Hawn, Goldie Dodson and Thelma Beasley

He is survived by his wife of 75 years: Mary Lou Dyle Potter
One Sister-in-law: Florence Potter
Daughter: Carolyn Sue Williams and husband Gab,
Sons: Wade Potter and John Wayne Potter and wife Christine
Nine Grandsons: Greg, Russ, Terry, Tim, Matt and Tom Williams, Jeff, Tony and Chuck Potter
Four Great Granddaughters and Six Great Grandsons
Four Great Great Granddaughters and Two Great Great Gandsons
Many, Many Nieces and Nephews

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00PM with Rev. Doyle Nance officiating. Graveside services will be Sunday, March 30, 2014 at 2:00PM in the Old Potters Chapel Cemetery, Lancing, TN.
