Roger Potter

Roger Stephen Potter, of the Joyner Community, Loving husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 1, 2016 surrounded by his family. Roger was born in Ozone, TN on September 29, 1949 to the late Cleo and Marjorie Potter. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, C.L. and Nancy Potter of Wartburg.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Phyllis Potter of the Joyner Community,
Daughters and sons-in-law, Valerie and Jarrod Hyder of Adairsville, GA., Kelli and Aaron Harvey of Harriman, TN.
Grandson, Benjamin Hyder (Pa's little buddy), granddaughter, Avaleigh Harvey (Pa's little princess),
Brother and sister-in-law, Cleo Jr. and Becky Potter of Lancing, sister, Emily Keeney of Crossville and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He also leaves behind his special fur babies, Abby, Bailey and Cici.
Special appreciation to Dr. Thomas Allen and staff, Nurse Brenda Smith and the entire Hospice team.

The family will receive friends Sunday April 3, 2016 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 1-3:00 p.m..
Funeral services will follow with Bro. Johnny Nix officiating.
Graveside services will be Monday April 4, 11:00 a.m. in Estes Cemetery, Coalfield, TN
