Robert Miller

Mr. Robert Dale "Bobby" Miller, age 55 of Oakdale, TN, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 21, 2010 surrounded by family at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born December 24, 1954 to Hugh and Eula Miller of Oakdale, he joined the United States Air Force upon graduating from Oakdale High School in 1973. After retiring from the USAF he returned home to Tennessee and worked for the United States Postal Service. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by wife; Terri Ogles Miller, son; Jay Miller, mother; and father; Hugh and Eula Miller and brother; Bill Miller.

Mr. Miller is survived by daughters; and sons-in-law; Cathy and Shane Jarski of Shalimar, FL, Tina and Chris Davis of Destin, FL,
Son; Jamie Miller of Destin, FL.
Grandsons; Cole Jarski, Triston Davis and Bryson Davis.
Granddaughters; Hailey Miller and Heaven Miller.
Brothers and sisters-in-law; James and Leona Miller, Charles Miller, Donald and Pam Miller all of Oakdale and Mike and Lori Miller of Friendsville.
Sisters and brothers-in-law; Lillian and Robert Paxton of Lancing, Joyce Suggs of Dalton, GA, Audrey and Vic Jeffers of Oakdale and Barbara and Dean Kamer of Oakdale and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 P.M. with Rev. Randy Griffis officiating.
Graveside service will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. in the Kubley Cemetery, Lancing, TN, with Military Honors conveyed by the Roane County Volunteer Honor Guard.
