Robert Evans

Fred Robert Evans, age 97, of Lancing, TN went home to be with the Lord , January 20, 2013 at his home in Lancing, TN in the presence of his children. He was retired from the Railroad and Steel Mills. He then retired to his family home in Lancing. He was preceded in death by his parents Jerome and Bessie Evans, wife Annabelle Mabe Evans, Granddaughter: Jennifer Evans, Grandson: Joe Diebel Jr., and Great grandson: Calvin Dale Smith and Grandson-in-law: Randy Dale Smith, also Seven sisters and Two Brothers.

He is survived by his children: Helen Evans of Lancing, Charles and Mary Evans of Grimsley, TN, Sue and husband Jerry Rollins of Mountain City, TN, John Evans of Lancing, Wilma and husband Paul Bledsoe of Joliet, IL, Robert and wife Cathy Evans of Lancing, Curtis and Lisa Evans of Lancing, Chester and special friend Jennie of Bradley, IL, Rex Evans of Lancing, Thomas and wife Deanna of Lancing, Julia Evans of Wartburg, Gail and husband Joe Diebel of Kingston, TN, Timothy Joe and wife Lila Evans of Lancing.
Also, 25 Grandchildren, 6 Grandchildren-in-laws and 24 Great Grandchildren

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00pm with Bro. Bill Durham officiating. Graveside Services will be in the Kubley Cemetery at 11:00am, Thursday, January 23, 2013.
