Robert Branstetter

On the early morning of April 29, 2015, Robert E. Branstetter, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and loyal friend suddenly left this weary earth to enter into his Heavenly Home.

Robert was 72 years old and is preceded in death by his Mother: Dorothy Howard, Father: Roy Branstetter, Brothers: Arnold and Daniel Branstetter, Grandson: Bradley Barnett and Step-son: Nicky Ooten

He is survived by his wife: Kay Branstetter of Deer Lodge
Children: Angela Stewart, Clarkrange, Michael Branstetter, Deer Lodge and Michelle Rader, Avon, Indiana
Step-son: Ronnie Ooten
Grandchildren: Alicea and Kristen Barnett, Clarkrange, Rebecca and Alexandria Branstetter and Cory Rose, Deer Lodge, Danielle, Jeremiah and Jacob Rader, Avon, Indiana, Lacy Ooten of Grimsley
Great-granddaughter: Emma Bradleigh Barnett, Clarkrange
Brothers: Wilburn and Cass Branstetter, Chestnut Ridge, Chester Howard, Chestnut Ridge and John Branstetter, Indiana
Sisters: Teresa Gilbert, Chestnut Ridge, Hallie Harris, Chestnut Ridge, Katie Lewis, Crossville and Hazel Brown, Michigan

Robert was a unique soul. He was fiercely loving, friendly, compassionate and humorous. He was the same person wherever he went and around whomever. He wasn't afraid to say what was on his mind... if he was thinking it, it came out. One thing is for certain, you could always take him at face value and his value to us all... PRICELESS. There is now an emptiness in those lives he has touched. The emptiness is immense, but I pray those precious memories and stories told will forever more help heal the pain in our hearts. Robert had the kind of love that is rarely found. His joy was contagious. He knew the difference between wants and needs and others' needs came before his wants. He was one of the most generous men you'll ever meet. All of our lives are better because he was a part of it. He will never be forgotten. Until we meet again...

The family will receive friends, Friday, May 1, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00PM (ET) at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00pm with Bro. L.P. Ford officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:00AM (ET) in the Pleasant Green Cemetery, Deer Lodge, TN.
