Rex Haynes, of Wartburg

Rex Wade Haynes, 56 of Wartburg went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 13, 2018 surrounded by his family. Rex was born and raised in Petros, TN. He was an Army veteran, serving active duty for 2 years as an Infantryman. During this time he was stationed in Washington and Germany.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Lawson and Ella Mae Haynes.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patricia Haynes; son, Jason McKeogh and wife Samantha of Petros; daughter, Amber Haynes and fiance’, Carlis Blalock of Coalfield; granddaughters, Sophia and Natalie McKeogh and Izabella Blalock; sisters and brothers-in-law, Diana and Freddy Armes, Barbara and Mike Cox of Wartburg, Lucy Cox of Oakdale, Veria and Randy Hensley of Dixon Springs, TN.; brothers and sister-in-law, Harold Haynes of Mossy Grove, Doyle and Cheryl Haynes, Brian and Kimberly Haynes of Wartburg and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 3:00-5:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 5:00 p.m. with Doug White officiating. Interment will follow in the old Petros Cemetery in Petros.
