Raymond Dishman, of Harriman, TN

Raymond "Buddy" Delano Dishman, age 85 of Harriman, TN, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday May 8, 2020. He was born on May 23, 1934 in Anderson County. He was the son of the late Oscar and Marie Dishman.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Dishman; son, Danny Dishman; daughter, Wanda Joyce (Dishman) Grimes; grandson, Travis Cyrus; sisters: Lucille Marlow, Margaret Nelson, and Della Collier; brothers: John “JW” and Steve Dishman; sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruby Dishman, Bill Marlow, Leonard Nelson, John Grissom, Nancey and James Disney, Christine and Chuck Wilson, Bud, Allen, and Jerry Phillips, and Evelyn Racine; mother-in-law Georgia Phillips and father-in-law Norman Phillips.

He is survived by his daughters: Tina Cyrus and Cindy Dishman; sons, Bryan, John, Frank and Lance Dishman; granddaughters, Marika Shelton, Brittany Dishman, Tracey Weddle, Alysa, Breanna, and Sara Dishman; grandsons, Austin Dishman, TJ “Trevor” Cyrus, Franklin Dishman, Jr., Aaron Ross, and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters: Thelma Grissom, Dianna Dishman, Sherry (Gary) Samples, and Kathy (Bobby) Wise; brother Wayne Dishman; sister-in-law Beverly Dishman; several special nieces and nephews and his Russell/Phillips family.

The family will receive friends Monday May 11, 2020 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2:00 with Bro. Tony Boswell officiating. The graveside service will follow at the Elverton Cemetery in Harriman, TN.
