Ray Shannon, of Wartburg, TN

Ray Edward Shannon, age 63 of the Petit Lane area, went home to be with the Lord on March 29th, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

Ray is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Levi Marie; parents, John H. and Evelyn Duncan Shannon; mother and father in law, John and Madeline Davis;  grandparents, Frank and Winnie (Breedlove) Shannon; and his brother, Rodger Shannon.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda; children: Todd and wife Kellye, Crystal and husband Rob, Tamekka and husband Corey, and Johnny Ray and wife Tasha; grandchildren: Alex, Ivin, Nevaeh Grace, Silas, Karsten, Adrianna, Reese, Natalie, Brynlee and unborn twin grandbabies, Raylen and Riley; great grandchild, Jaxon Harris; sister-in-law Betty Presley; brothers-in-law Tommy, Charles and Bennie Davis; two special nieces, Emily Davis and Reshea Presley, along with a host of nephews, nieces, and other extended family who he loved dearly.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Warburg with the funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Jim Disney officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mossy Grove Church Cemetery.
