Ray Redmon

Mr. Ray Otis Redmon, age 86 of Wartburg went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2016. He passed away at home after a short illness. Being an Army Veteran having served between 1952 to 1954 as a truck driver in Germany.

Mr. Redmon was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lizzie and Ellis Redmon, son, Leonard Dean Redmon and brother, EJ Redmon. Sisters, Betty Redmon, Charlotte Lamance, Reba Duncan, Cora Mae Bullen and Edith Overton.

He is survived by sister, Rema Lane, brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Judy Redmon. Son, David Wayne Redmon and wife Melodie, daughter, Carolyn Young and husband Richard. Grandchildren, Brian Weaver, Ursula Young, David Redmon, Justin Redmon, Chris Redmon. And a host of great-grand children, nieces and nephew and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral to follow at 6:00 p.m. with Dr. Paul Frick officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors in the Liberty Church Cemetery, Wartburg, Tn
