Randall Lee Brown, 82, of Sterling, Alaska passed away on June 5, 2024.He was born on March 25,1942. Randall was a dedicated husband, father, and role model to all who knew him. Randall served in the Air Force for 20 years, where his hard work and dedication were evident. After his military service, he had a successful 15-year career with Municipal Light and Power in Anchorage, Alaska. He retired to Sterling, Alaska in 1992. In his personal life, Randall was known for his steadfast and dependable nature. He raised three children, two of whom were step-children, with love and care. His word was as good as gold, and he was always ready to help family and friends. Randall's dedication as a husband was unparalleled, especially during the 10 years he cared for his ailing wife, Marie.Randall is survived by his brothers, Louis and Wayne Brown; sister, Barbara Henry; son, David Brown; and step-son, Thurston Nix.He was preceded in death by his wife, Alfia Marie Brown; mother, Ola Lee Brown; father, Carl Lee Brown; and step-daughter, Sheila Daughtry.Randall enjoyed fishing and yard work in his free time.Memorial services in his honor are planned for September in Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Randall Lee Brown.
