Ralph Goodman of Wartburg, TN

Mr. Ralph Goodman of Wartburg passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was a great father, grandfather and father-in-law who loved gardening and Genology and was an avid outdoorsman. He retired after 40 years from ORNL as a pipefitter.

He is preceded in death by his  wives, Anna Joyce Bonifacious and Jackie Eastridge; daughter, Jacqueline Ann Goodman; step-daughter, Missy Eastridge Allen; parents, Johnnie L. Goodman and Rena Sumner; sister, Helen Redmon.

He is survived by his children, Jill (Richard) Dishman, Jonathan (Melanie) Goodman and Jason (Cathy) Goodman; sister, Carolyn Daly; grandchildren, Andrew and Kitten Goodman, Justin Goodman, Ian Goodman, Zeke and Abby Goodman, Darah and Levi Trentham and Atalanta Dishman; great grandchildren, Grayson Goodman and baby Trentham who is due in August and special friend, Jane Cox and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 17, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10:00 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church with Pastor David Graves officiating with the interment to follow in the Wartburg City Cemetery.

The family request in lieu of flowers contributions be made to St. Paul Luther Church, Historical Society in Morgan County and Wartburg Library.
