Penny Carroll

Penny Carroll, age 41 of Wartburg passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge, TN. Penny enjoyed spending time with her husband and children. They loved going to the Wartburg Football games and fishing. She also loved being around her parents, siblings, nieces and nephews and special friend Joe Hamby. She was preceded in death by her husband: Anthony Carroll and Sons: Jacob and Jamon Carroll all of Wartburg, Brother: Mickey Phillips, Grandparents: Louise and Carl Phillips and Ernie and Clate Lowe, Uncles: Roy Lee Phillips, Wilbert Phillips, Frank Phillips, Tommy Lowe and Jakie Lowe. Aunts: Orie Mae Patterson, Betty Wait , Lois Phillips and Helen Lowe.

She is survived by her Son: Dylan Carroll, Wartburg
Parents: Homer and Bertha Phillips, Wartburg
Sisters: Cindy Phillips and husband Hobert Phillips, Wartburg and Carolyn Weldon, Clinton
Brother: Michael Phillips (Lynn), Wartburg
Penny has a host of family and friends that loved her and she will be deeply missed.

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00PM with Bro. Jimmy Dean Byrge officiating. Interment will be in the Covington Cemetery, Wartburg.
