Patsy Daugherty

Mrs. Patsy Ruth Hembree Daugherty, age 70, went home to be with her Father, on January 12, 2010 at the Life Care Center of Morgan County. She was born April 19, 1939 in Stephen's. She was of the Baptist faith. She graduated from Coalfield in 1957. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She married Henry Isaac Daugherty and they were blessed with 7 children.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Elmer Hembree; mother, Lillie Keathley; grandchild, Megan Ann Daugherty; sister, Billie; and brothers: Buddy, John and Avery.
She is survived by children: Regina Montross, Donna Bunch, Stephen Daugherty, Tony Daugherty (Sonya), Flipper Daugherty (Allison), Joey Daugherty, and Rodney Daugherty; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews; Also special friends: Janice Farmer and Darlis Armes.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 15, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bro. Wayne Morgan officiating. Graveside services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery.
