Oscar Hawn

Oscar Alonzo Hawn, age 88 passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Maude Hawn; wife, Octavia Bunch; children, Vanessa Hawn and Doyle Hawn.

He is survived by his son, Vernon Hawn; daughters, Cheryl Joyner and Michelle McCormick; 8 grandchildren, 2 adopted grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; sisters, Carol Armes, Wanda Young; brothers, Jim Hawn and Randale Hawn and many nieces and nephews.

Oscar worked at many different jobs during his life. He was a deacon of Caney Branch Church.
He was the sweetest dad, brother, uncle and friend. Anyone who knew him knows this is true. We all will miss him but he's in Heaven now with Jesus and all who have went before him and they are waiting on us.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 12:00 to 1:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. A graveside service will follow at 1:00PM with Bro. Brett Polata and Bro. Randale Hawn officiating. After the funeral all are invited to Fellowship Baptist Church for food and maybe sermon if not at funeral home.
