Orel Adams

Orel A. Adams, age 96 of Sunbright and a recent resident of Life Care Center of Morgan County, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife: Lela M. Hall Adams, an infant son: Ross Edward Adams, parents: Calvin and Annie Adams, sisters: Vola England, Beatrice Lavender, Nina Mae Hall and two infant siblings, granddaughters: Naomi Higginbotham and Carolyn Simoneaux and grandson: Ray Higginbotham.
Surviving is a daughter: Annette (Ronald Smith), two sons: Robert Adams (Rose), Wayne Adams (Mary) all of Deer Lodge, TN. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, Kevin L. Bray (Amy), Celeste Bray Wadlow (Marty) of Texas, Shirley Cantrell, Claudia Dollmeyer (Bruce), Angelia Lange, Bryan Adams, Jay Adams, Elaine Adams, Laran Adams all of Illinios, David Adams (Debbie) , Crystal Brian , Evelyn Adams of AZ, Ronita Neer (Shane) of Clinton, Tn, Ronald Smith Jr. (Chelsea) of Wartburg, TN, twenty-nine great grandchildren and twenty-plus great-great grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday evening July 27, 2013 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Roy Langley officiating. Graveside services will be Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Smith Cemetery, Chestnut Ridge Community.
