Onily Stewart

Mr. Onily Stewart age 86 of Wartburg, TN passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011. Born February 26, 1925 in Goby, TN of Jasper and Ollie Bunch Stewart. The youngest living brother of 4, Lonnie, Burl and Earl. He was a World War II veteran that served in France, Germany and Belgium. Onily lived in Oregon and Ill. Before settling on his farm in Lancing, TN
Onily had a wisdom and wit that endeared him to everyone. He was a totally devoted husband, father and friend. He was one of the last of a dying breed; he knew what it was to be a man and a Christian,
He was blessed to be called home to celebrate his 86th birthday with his Savior and loved ones which passed on before, and to hear on that day "Well done thou good and faithful servant".
Our loss is heaven's gain.

He is survived by his wife; Lula Hall Stewart,
Daughters; Charlotte Stewart Shannon and Barbara Stewart Longmire,
Grandchildren; Tammy Black, James and wife Tonya Andrews,
Great-grandchildren; Rachael, Stefan, Jessica, Brittany, Callie, Gabriel, Piper and Victoria.
Also survived by precious great-great-grandchildren; Mikayla, Tristin and Josalyn.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 3rd from 1to 1:40 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Estes Cemetery, Coalfield.
