Ola Lee Vincent Brown passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017 after giving us 97 years of wonderful love and caring. She had been a resident of Life Care Center of Morgan County for the past 3 years after she became unable to live alone at home at the age of 94. She loved her home and her 2 dogs more than life itself. She loved to travel to the beach and made several trips to Alaska to visit her son and his family. She was a lifelong member and the eldest member of Mossy Grove Baptist Church. She was employed by Morgan County School System for 33 years where she was a cook for Wartburg Elementary School where she retired at the age of 73.
She was preceded in death by husband, Carl Lee Brown; infant son; parents, Gideon and Cora Vincent; brother, Harold Vincent; sisters Odessa Cross and Opal Lemons.
She is survived by 3 son and wives, Randall and Marie Of Alaska, Wayne and Elaine Brown of Lancing, Louis and Melanie Brown of Kingston; daughter, Barbara and husband Donnie Henry of Wartburg; 6 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.. Funeral service will be Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mossy Grove Baptist Church with Bro. David Goodman officiating. Interment to follow in the Mossy Grove Church Cemetery.
