Mr. Ocee C. Cole, age 94 formerly of Chestnut Ridge passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015, in Hartwell, Georgia at the lake home of his son and daughter-in-law Larry and Beatrice Cole. He formerly resided at Iris Place, a retirement home in Athens, Georgia. Son of Mac and Gertrude Cole. He was a 32nd degree Mason at Kingston Lodge #38 and a member of American Legion Post 53, Harriman. He was also a veteran of WWII, serving in France. He was retired from ORNL (Oak Ridge National Laboratories) lab after 42 Years. He was a 30 year member of the Crown Victoria Antique Car Association. He is preceded in death by one sister, Laddie Cole and two brothers, Ozell and Odell Cole, by his parents and by his former wife, Pauline Kesterson Cole.

Mr. Cole is survived by 2 Sons: William Clifford Cole , Harriman and Larry Odell Cole, Athens, Georgia
Sisters: Odalene Payne, Deer Lodge and Opal Durden, Orlando, Florida
3 Grandchildren: Cliff Cole, Sevierville, Clay Cole, West Granby, Connecticut, Laura Cole Hixon, Athens, Georgia
9 Great Grandchildren
The family would like to express special gratitude to Brian Carrigan and the nurses and caregivers at Remain at Home Senior Care for their services throughout the past few years.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00AM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will immediately follow . A Graveside with Military Honors will be held in the Flat Rock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in the Chestnut Ridge Community in Deer Lodge, TN
