Nancy Robinson

Nancy Lee Ridenour Robinson, age 88 of Wartburg passed away September 25, 2024. She was known for her amazing dishes and always having an extra seat around the kitchen table for anyone that stopped by. Nancy was a member of Union Baptist Church. She took pride in being a mother and grandmother, always bringing her family together and blessing others with kindness and love whether it be a warm hug or a fried apple pie.

Nancy was preceded in death by husbands, Elmer Jones and Kenneth Robinson; parents, Ernest and Velda (Patty) Ridenour; and siblings, Chris Cox, George Ridenour, and Tommy Ridenour.

She will be leaving a loving legacy through her children: Russ (Karen) Jones, Angela (Jeff) Sexton, and Michelle (Joel) Sampsel; grandchildren: Caleb (Beth) Sexton, Daniel Sexton, Kaylee (Daniel) Moore, Skylar (Jessica) Sampsel and Walker (Sarah) Watson, along with great-grandchildren: Kinsley, Emmarie, and Luke Sampsel and Rylan, Briar, and Ira Moore; and siblings: Pauline Lawson, David Ridenour, Patricia Rice, and Don Ridenour. She also has left behind the most wonderful neighbors that affectionately called her “Granny” and “Maw”.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 27, 2024 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 7:00 p.m.  Graveside services will be Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. in the Morgan Memorial Gardens in Wartburg.
