Nancy Kennedy of Petros, TN

With a very sad and heavy heart, “Nancy (Seiber) Kennedy” 87 of Petros, went to be with our Lord, November 8, 2020. She will be very missed by the ones she left behind but rejoicing with the ones that went before her. She was a loving wife, mother of 9, grandmother of 19, great-grandmother of 35, great-great-grandmother of 5, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a very loving and giving person all around, she always helped anyone that ask, she always put everyone before her own needs. She was a caregiver before she got sick. She loved going to church and singing, she also loved going camping and fishing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Anna Mae (Bunch) Seiber: Husband Kyle Kennedy, Daughter: Brenda Sue Phillips Hensley: Sons Kurlin Kennedy, Carvin Kennedy and Ray Kennedy: Brothers Pitney Seiber, Austin Seiber, and Joel Seiber Grandson: Phillip Armes.

She is survived by her daughters: Linda (Lonnie) Lowe of Petros, Wanda (Bill) Armes of Petros, Norma (Ronald “Cotton”) Armes of Petros, Dean (Lonnie) Bunch of Petros, the baby Lorene Kennedy of Petros, Foster daughter: Goldie Harrill of Knoxville, Son-in-law: Jerry Hensley of Wartburg. A very special thanks to Casandra King for always and being there and helping. Precious Caregiver: Robin Whittaker

Sisters: Lorene (Thomas) Ward of Caryville, Brenda Osborne of Pioneer, Dean (Gary) of Petros, and Edis Seiber of Louisiana.

Brothers: Raymon Seiber of Rocky Top, and Mitchell Seiber Jr. of Beech Fork.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg from 2:00-3:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. Otis Phillips and Bro. Lonnie Lowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Petros Cemetery in Petros.
