Mildred Newberry

Mrs. Mildred Love Newberry, 74 of Wartburg, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, November 16, 2009. She was born May 12, 1935. Mildred was a devoted wife, mother and sister who enjoyed spending her time in the kitchen creating her favorite recipes. She was a long time member of the Shady Grove Church in Lancing Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Annie Collins, Sisters: Elsie Howard Nellie Howard, Pearl Brown, Georgie Potter and Junie Winegar, Brothers: Hershel, Lee, Willard and Cletus Collins.

Mrs. Newberry is survived by her husband Raymond Lee Newberry. Sons: Ken and wife Donna, Todd and finance Tiffany and Carey Newberry all of Wartburg. Grandchildren Natasha Francis and husband Aaron, Dereck Newberry and her great grandchildren Kylie and Wyatt Francis. Also surviving is her sister Retha Bonham of Allardt and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, November 17th from 6 to 8 pm at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg with the funeral service to follow with Rev. Billy Durham and Rev. Junior Nance officiating.
Graveside will be at 11:00 a.m. , November 18, 2009 in the Shady Grove Church Cemetery in Lancing Tennessee.
