Michelle “Shelly” Jenkins

Michelle Lee Jenkins, (Shelly), age 53 of Coalfield passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2024. She was loving and kind. She had a heart of gold and captured that in everyone around her. She loved spending time with her family and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Thomas Jenkins, Sr.; Sister, Helena Louise Williams and her baby, Cody Williams; Brother, Lee Thomas Jenkins Jr.; and Nephew, Aaron Tray Gunter.

 She is survived by her mother, June Jenkins of Coalfield; Sister, Cheryl & husband Charles Woodstock; Brothers, James Audley Jenkins (Jamie), Charles & wife Tami Shedd and Craig & wife Mary Shedd Nieces, Hope Louise Jenkins, Shyann Micole Jenkins, and Danielle Turpin. Nephews, Elijah James Freels, Peyton Michael Lee McCarter, Lee Thomas McCarter, and Cody Bunch. Great-nieces and nephews, Myia Freels, Maverick Brys, Allenia Turpin; Caregiver; Timber and her best friend Amanda Laymance And a host of other special family members and great friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 5-7 pm Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will be at 7pm with Bro. Jamie Basler officiating. Graveside services will be Wednesday, 11am Western Cemetery, Coalfield, TN.
