Maxine Chapman of Oakdale, TN

Winona “Maxine” Chapman age 89 of Oakdale, TN went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2018 after a short battle with cancer.  Maxine was a member of White Oak Baptist Church in Oakdale and has a great love for her church family and pastor.

She is preceded in death by her husband Albert “Monk” Chapman.  Her parents Roy and Vivie Stone:  Brother; Walter Stone:  Sisters; Ava Miles, Lela Stone, Wilma Weatherford, Estelle Overton and Eula Brummett:  also several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

She is survived by her brother:  Clyde Stone of Harriman, TN

Sisters-in-law:  Alice Chapman of Rockwood, TN and Betty Chapman of Oakdale, TN

Also an abundance of nieces and nephews local and out of state that she loved and thought of often.  A special thanks to her nephews Randy and wife Christine, Glen and wife Shirley of Oakdale, TN who was not only her family but was also caregiver for many years.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2-4 pm at White Oak Baptist Church, Oakdale, TN.  Funeral services will be 4 pm with Bro. Billy Walker and Bro. Danny Jenkins officiating, internment will follow in the Camp Austin Cemetery, Oakdale, TN.
