Mary Lee

Mary Lou (Armes) Lee, age 82 of Wartburg, formerly of Harriman was called home to be with Jesus on December 24, 2012. She was a lifelong member of Armes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Wartburg. She worked hard all her life, being raised on a farm and various jobs at the Hosiery Mills in Harriman and Rockwood, Life Care Center of Morgan County and various other jobs. She was a faithful wife and a loving and caring mother, grandmother and Aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob & Minnie Armes, husband Samuel "Edd" Lee, and her son John Arnold Lee.
She is survived by three sons: James Edward & wife Lucy Lee of Wilmington, NC
Robert Everett Lee Sr. of Harriman, TN
Samuel Woodrow Lee of Wartburg, TN
Grandsons: Robbie Lee of Harriman, TN, "Dujee" & Chastity Bowling of Nashville, TN, Jared & Tina Lee of Winston-Salem, NC, Hank Moss of Rockwood, TN
Granddaughters: Courtney Lee of Huntsville, AL, Carla Lee & David Cuomto, Castle Hayne, NC, Shawn (Moss) & Charlie Long of Rockwood, TN, Ashleigh Bryant of Kingston, TN, Aimee & Eddie Davidson of Kingston, TN
Also surviving are numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Life Care Center of Morgan County for their loving care while our Mom was there.

The family will receive friends on Thursday December 27, 2012 from 6-8 pm Schubert Funeral Home Wartburg. Funeral services will be Friday 1 pm Armes Chapel Church with Rev. Richard Cox and Rev. Jeff Armes officiating, internment will follow in the church cemetery.
