Mary KRIES

Ms. Mary Margaret Kries, age 89 of Wartburg, passed away Sunday evening, May 1, 2011, at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville.
Ms. Kries retired from the Morgan County Health Department after 35 years of service.
She was the daughter of the late Gertrude and Carl Kries of Wartburg. She was also preceded in death by sister, Glen Alice Zumstein; and brothers: Charles, Willard, and Billy Jean.

She is survived by daughter, Sharon L. Kries of Wartburg; niece, Donna Maples of Knoxville; and special cousins: Janelle Jones of Lubboch, Texas and Dave Hall of Hendersonville, N.C.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 3, 2001 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Carolyn Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Wartburg City Cemetery.
