Martha Edmonds of Lancing, TN

Martha “Marti” Audrey Page Edmonds 84, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2017 in Cookeville, TN. She was raised in Potsdam, NY and lived many years in Syracuse, NY and lovingly raised 3 daughters.

Marti is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Audrey Page, Potsdam, NY and son-in-law, Rosario “Junior” Pace. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Nathan) Langley of Lancing, TN, Kathy Pace of Melbourne Beach, FL and Kaye Edmonds (Jeff Bergstrom) of Atlanta, GA. She was very proud of her grandsons who also survive her – Kevin (Rachael) Seddon of Marysville, WA and Dr. Ryan (Sarah) Seddon of Tokyo, Japan. Additional survivors include cousins, Walter Paul of Colton, NY and Frances Theobald Hunter of Liverpool, NY and many wonderful friends in the Syracuse, NY and Boynton Beach, FL areas.

Even before retiring as a secretary, Marti enjoyed many activities with her family and friends including travel with the In-Betweeners, playing bridge, camping (including Pathfinder in Cooperstown, NY) being a Florida snowbird, collecting penguins and visiting family and friends. She was a member of the United Church of Christ of Bayberry in Liverpool, NY.

The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Autumn Care Assisted Living in Knoxville, TN and Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville, TN for their loving care of Marti.

Friends and family will gather at Maurer Funeral Home in Liverpool, NY on November 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
