Marin Mccartt

Rev. M. D. McCartt, age 73, of Sunbright, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 16, 2010, at the Scott Country Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leeta Carter McCartt; parents:
Pleas and Annie McCartt; Brothers: James, John, Sammy, L. A. and Robert McCartt; and sisters: Janie, Emmie and Sally.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Benita and Javad Basij, of Tucson, AZ; son, Curtis McCartt of Sunbright, TN; two granddaughters: Stefanie and Ashley Basij, of Tucson, AZ; brothers: Glen and P.J. McCartt; sisters: June, Betty, Ella, Susie, Gladys, Phyllis, and Eva; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 21, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Sunbright. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Bro. Doug Morgan officiating. A graveside will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the McCartt Cemetery, Glenmary, TN.
