Marilyn Smith

Marilyn Ann Smith, age 54, of Pilot Mountain, formerly of New River Devonia Community, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday September 26, 2012. She was dedicated to her church, Pilot Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. She always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. She loved digging ginseng, going to yard sales and going to church. She will be sadly missed along with her smile and laughter.
She was preceded in death by her father Jessie Gilbert Smith, Mother Georgia. E. West Smith Landrum, Sister Freida Mae Mills, Step sisters Kizzie Jones and Louannie Davis and step brother R. C. Smith.

She is survived by sisters: Carolyn June Shannon & husband Donnie
Wanda Sue Keith & husband Dorman
Brother: William Keith York & wife Jennifer
She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday September 28, 2012, from 6 to 8 pm Pilot Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be Saturday September 29, 11 am with Bro. Charles Webb and Bro. Houston Carroll officiating, interment will follow in the Bray Cemetery, Devonia, TN.
