Marie Watson, of Lancing, TN

Marie Schaefer Watson, age 90, of Lancing, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ December 31, 2018.

She was born to Emile Schaefer and Josephine Schenck Schaefer on December 26, 1928. She was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She moved to Tennessee in the year of 1977. She later married Reid Watson.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Reid Watson; parents, Emile and Josephine Schaefer; infant brother, Frederick Schaefer; sisters, Josephine Taylor, Irma Simmons and Dorothy Roux.

She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great and great grand nieces and nephews who all loved her very dearly.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Chestnut Ridge Community Church from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Ronnie Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Island Ford Cemetery.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Chestnut Ridge Community Chapel.
