Maisel Harney of Lancing, TN

Maisel Harney, age 82, earned her wings on April 4, 2020 surrounded by her husband, Thomas L. Harney; 2 daughters. Maisel and Thomas were married for 62 years. She was a beautiful loving wife, and mother that devoted her life to her husband and family.

She leaves behind her husband, Thomas Harney; 2 daughters, Terri Harney and Penny Beaty husband, Dwayne; she is a grandmother of five grandchildren Vanessa, Jimmy, Thomas Hutcherson, Joshua Hamby and wife Brittany and Victoria Hamby and she was a great grandmother of 5 great  grandchildren, Lillian and Hunter Griffith and Braden and Autumn, Bryleigh Hamby. She is the oldest sister to Melba Rich of Lancing, Jo Rich and husband, Jim of South Carolina, Sharon Heidle and husband, Lester of Wartburg, Gayle Hamby and husband, Bobby of Wartburg

She is preceded in death by parents, Lemmie and Annabelle Potter and bother Paul.

She was a dedicated faithful Christian that loved the Lord. She was a registered Licensed Beautician and Instructor in two states for 48 years.

In light of current events, the family understands that not everyone feels comfortable coming out to show their respects.  The family will have a graveside service Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Lancing, TN.
