Macel G. Phillips of Wartburg, TN

Macel Phillips age 98, passed away December 3, 2017. She was born September 22, 1919. She was a faithful member and supporter of Liberty Baptist Church and was sad when she was no longer able to attend.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jesse; daughter, Carolyn Jones; parents, Joel and Cora Griffith; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived  by 2 children, Joann Pass and special friends, Ron Mercer, Charles Phillips and wife, Beverly of Clinton, TN.; 6 grandchildren, Reeca Eslinger and Chuck of Georgia, Jeffrey Phillips and Heather of TN., Jay Jones and Sabrina of GA., John Phillps and Leigh of TN., Crystal Davis and Patti of GA. and Jamie Weyenberg and Andy of GA.; 10 great grandchildren, Megan Eslinger, Sydney Jones, Katelyn Weyenberg, Christopher Phillips, Cole Phillips, Drew Weyenberg, Kinder Jones, Jake Weyenberg, Jessica Phillips and Sydney Murley.

She is leaving behind special friends and caretakers:

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. with the funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Paul Frick officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Church Cemetery.
